From Tilt and Turn to Extra-large expanses of glass. Our experience and in-depth knowledge of our range of products will ensure you make the right decision.

Explore some of the most popular window types below and their best solutions.

TILT AND TURN WINDOWS

Tilt and Turn windows are a common window type in Spain as the convenient design lets in the fresh air at the top. These then fully opens inwards to make cleaning easier.

Traditional window blinds get in the way of tilt & turn window operation which is why we recommend specialty blinds. These come complete with side guides or guide wires that ensure they stay flat to the window.

Pleated blinds are the perfect solution when flexible light control is required, with Top Down – Bottom Up control, and practical Night and Day options available, with honeycomb Duette blinds offering an alternative when thermal insulating properties are also required.

Venetian blinds and Perfect Fit roller blinds fix seamlessly to Tilt & Turn windows. This is a special design that precisely holds the blind in position when the window is angled open.

EXTRA-LARGE WINDOWS

Many new build or reform villas come with extra large expenses of glass to take in the wonderful views, however this can lead to problems when it comes to the impact of the sun, and the size of blind that can be physically made and installed.

Many blind fabrics have limited width, however there are some blind fabrics and blind types that can be made specifically for extra-large windows with lengths of up to 6 meters in some options, all with motorisation to ensure ease of use.

Alternatively, a number of blinds can be installed along the width of the window with minimal gaps between the fabric that coincide with the window frames.

Sun screen blinds are the perfect solution for extra-large windows where protection is required from the heat of the sun and the harshness of UV.

Vertical and panel blinds are ideal when a little more detail is required and there is space to stack them to the sides of the window.

  • Do you need shade from the sun?
  • Is preserving your privacy important?

WINDOWS WITH CEILING RECESSES

Our blinds can be fitted to the ceiling in most recesses assuming the ceiling is strong enough to carry the weight of the blind. As well as having sufficient space for the mechanism.

If there is a source for electric, then this is ideal for adding motorisation, alternatively a rechargeable battery motor can be installed.

The dimensions of the recess are critical to providing the best final aesthetic appearance of your blind. Especially when motorised blinds are to be fitted as the motors can be ugly if they can be seen below the recess.
