MOTOR OPTIONS FOR MOTORISED BLINDS

02  HARD WIRED MOTORS, CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO MAINS POWER SUPPLY

Hard wired motors connect directly to your mains supply through cabling and with a permanent power supply there is no need to recharge.

These are ideal where pre-existing cabling has been installed and concealed as part of a reform or new build project by your electrician. Power can also be daisy chained. From one motor to another which means one power supply can be connected to multiple blinds within the same proximity. (This option is not available for hard wired switch operated blinds where one operating switch must be explicitly installed per each individual blind).

They are the solution where extra-large blinds are required and the use of a manual operating system. This is unsuitable or beyond the limits of a rechargeable battery motor. Depending on the type of blind, a width of up to 6m can be installed with this option.

Most commonly operated through a remote control, hard wired motors are the ideal solution. Where multiple blinds are to be installed and maximum flexibility if operation is required.
